Either you believe or you don't, with true faith there is no in between.
If you claim to be a believer and follower of Jesus but find yourself ignoring or compromising parts of the Holy Bible so you feel more comfortable in your faith, especially when it comes to being socially acceptable in today's society, then it may be time to review the very foundation on which your faith is built.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
Matthew 5:19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.
John 12:48 The one who rejects me and does not receive my words has a judge; the word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day.
2 Peter 1:21 For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.
Revelation 22:18-19 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book, and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.
Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Romans 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
Ephesians 4:22-24 To put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
When the seed of the Holy Spirit is planted within us it must be nurtured in order for it to take root and grow. This requires the rock solid assurance that God is real, that He loves us so much that He wants us to stay very close to Him throughout our lives so He can rejoice when we come home to Him in heaven for all eternity. The devil has other plans for us. He is constantly at work putting temptations in front of us and raising doubts within us. If the devil can convince us that any part of the Scriptures is untrue then he will use that to weaken the entire foundation on which our faith is built, for if one part is an exaggeration or an untruth then it all can be brought into question. In our world today we see that playing out in so many ways and the serious ramifications are clear to all whom in which the Holy Spirit dwells.
We at Acts 1:8 Ministry have committed the past 18 years to provide Christians around the world with a free outreach method that will greatly help strengthen your faith as you witness Jesus come to life before you. We call it P.A.C.K. (Planned Acts of Christian Kindness). Anyone of any age and faith level can do P.A.C.K. Through simple acts of kindness shown to everyone that the Spirit sends your way (while out in busy public places) you can easily show them the love that Jesus has for them. In this way you are also providing them with a small taste of what God's grace is like as neither can be earned or bought at any price. This message is delivered on what is called a "Connect Card" which also serves as a warm invite for them to come to your place of worship where they can learn more about the special love that Jesus has for them. Care-Share-Connect as it is called! Faith and Kingdom building to the max! It is in the everyday people that He sends to you that God's power and love are revealed. From someone you would least expect will come a powerful testimony of a crisis they are squarely in the midst of and this will happen at a timing that will leave you with absolutely no doubt as to His divine presence! Please give it a try as God will do amazing things to and through you! Simply sign up at : www.acts18.org and the link to the program will be sent to your e-mail address. Use our many P.A.C.K. ideas, suggested times of the year & locations to do your events, even simple words to share with the recipients, and customize the connect cards with your church/ministry/school/special events, etc, before printing them off. God bless your service to His glorious Kingdom!
