Eisb?ren (Juniors) Berlin stream with Staige

The Eisb?ren Berlin are a founding member of the German Ice Hockey League. They are a well-established club winning eight German Championship titles between the years 2005 and 2021. The Eisb?ren are also very successful in the youth field. The Eisb?ren Juniors Berlin are multiple German and regional champions. The U20 team competes in the highest division of the German Junior League (DNL) and plays their home games in the traditional Wellblechpalast. The stadium known as “Welli” was home of the men’s team until 2008. Many victories were celebrated in this stadium, including three German Championship titles. The livestreams can be embedded on the club's website and also be viewed on the streaming platform staige.tv. Furthermore, the matches can be watched on-demand, in a highlight video or in re-live. The increased reach benefits not only the club, but also the players. Scouts and the coaches of the men's team now have additional tools to discover players and follow their development.

Supporting players individually

The livestreaming feature is supplemented by a video analysis function. Coaches and analysts can review individual scenes from their training sessions or games and can help players with these scenes to step up their game to the next level. Jochen Molling, former professional player and coach of the U20 team of the Eisb?ren Berlin says: "Staige's system gives me and my co-trainer the opportunity to jump right into the analysis directly after the game or the training session and show the boys what they can improve on."

Other teams also benefit from the camera system

Not only the clubs' U20 teams can use the system, but also the other junior teams can take advantage of having the camera. Thus, the games of the U13, U15 and U17 junior teams are also broadcast. The persons responsible know how important it is to be able to analyse and individually review situations on the ice, no matter in which age group.
