The Eight principles of Quality Management

The Eight principles of Quality Management

ISO 9001 is based upon the Eight Principles of Quality Management. As well as being guiding principles for the development of the most popular quality standard, they are also useful resources for management professionals looking to implement or improve a quality management program.

For each of the core principles, the Mobaro Task Adherence & Process Compliance Platform provides businesses with field service teams, with the perfect app based system to glue the key blocks together. The Mobaro platform reduces risks, improves service quality, and enables an unprecedented level of performance analysis.

The Eight principles of Quality Management are defined in ISO 9000:2005, Quality management systems – Fundamentals and vocabulary, and in ISO 9004:2009, Managing for the sustained success of an organisation – A quality management approach. A complete ISO 9001 Quality Management System must address all the requirements of ISO 9001, including the ISO 9001 documentation requirements.

ISO 9001:2015 – Risk Based Thinking

One of the key changes in the 2015 revision of ISO 9001 is to establish a systematic approach to risk, rather than treating it as a single component of a quality management system. Now risk is considered and included throughout the standard.
