One of the oldest airlines in Africa, EgyptAir traces its roots back to 1932. Originally known as Misr Airwork, it was a joint venture between the Egyptian government and the British aviation company Airwork Limited. The airline initially operated flights between Cairo and Alexandria, as well as other domestic routes.
Over the decades, EgyptAir has transformed into a major international carrier with flights to over 70 destinations worldwide. The airline's current fleet consists of a mix of Airbus and Boeing aircraft, including the Airbus A320, A330, A340, and the Boeing 737, 777, and 787.
EgyptAir has had its share of challenges over the years, including a number of accidents and security issues. However, the airline has also been praised for its commitment to safety and on-time performance.
What sets EgyptAir apart from other airlines is its deep connection to Egyptian culture. The airline's logo, a winged sun, is an ancient Egyptian symbol representing power, strength, and rebirth.
Passengers on EgyptAir flights can enjoy traditional Egyptian cuisine and even watch movies and TV shows that showcase the country's rich history and vibrant culture.
As EgyptAir continues to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, the airline remains committed to providing safe and reliable travel options for passengers.
The company has implemented strict sanitation measures and is working closely with authorities to ensure a smooth and safe travel experience.
In conclusion, EgyptAir has a long and proud history as one of Africa's oldest airlines. With its focus on safety, reliability, and connection to Egyptian culture, it remains a popular choice for travelers around the world. #EgyptAir #AirlineHistory #Aviation #Travel #EgyptianCulture.

6 个月I think all is well until you get a problem. Since June 2024 regarding my flight from London to Amman, bag did not arrive with me but was delivered next day which was good but it was completely damaged. Since then I have contact them 5-6 times, repeatedly sending photos of the damage, proof of flight and luggage tags but so far nothing. Each time I send a reminder, I am told to contact same email [email protected] !!! with no result. I have been using them from time to time to visit Egypt both for business and social purposes but I will not recommend them to anyone now. See the damage caused by them after a day's delay in delivering the bag..
