Egypt from 3rd Grade GK Book to in-person Egypt!
Yess, you heard me right!! Knowing about Pyramids and curiosity to learn what's inside from my Grade 3rd and fascination about visiting Egypt once in my lifetime is now checked-in ?
All Thanks to my mentor - Ramalatha Marimuthu Ma'am for giving me this opportunity to collaborate with her through IEEE YESIST12 (A Global Social-Innovation based competition for student community from Pre-University to Young Professionals) since 2020.
So are you ready to explore Egypt with me? Let's go!!
The entrance to Cairo International Airport started with having wonderful YESIST12 Family gathering as below:
Right away from here, we headed over different places of Cairo and exploring the childhood dream of mine i.e., Pyramiddddd!! ??
Yes, you got me right! We indians don't forget the Taj Mahal Pose anywhere across the Globe (even if that's Pyramid, or Chile's Tallest Tower ??)
IEEE Selfie King: Yes, I am so-called IEEE Selfie-King among my IEEE Network and the reason is justified with below pic:
Making new friends & group pics: Introvert turned extrovert, I can't leave this opportunity for not making Egyptian friends at the IEEE SB where we hosted our YESIST12 8th Edition - Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport

Exploring culture of Egypt: From holding microphone around my neck like an ID Card and roaming around the Egyptian Museum to listen to our Tour Guide was an amazing experience to know each and every deep-detail of how Egyptians used to live for many years before.
This included understanding of Royal Egypt Family living to common-man lifesyle and to deepest exposure to mummification process. Checkout the glimpses below:
Some funky & traditional art: From understanding the tradition of Egypt, next we moved into a traditional painting shop which surprised me a lot in the way how a representative of Egypt in that shop created a paint-canvas from a tree-stem. And then we visited a temple which was turned to Church and we found similar instances of Egypt's statues were sunk into river so that power can be shown by rulers. Checkout the pics below:
Inside Pyramid: Another item on my bucket-list was exploring what's inside Pyramid and how it has power of generating so much electricity by just the architecture of it?
Explore the diagram of an inside-pyramid below:
(We managed to get inside till Queen's Chamber > As last chamber was completely closed). Explore the glimpse from inside-pyramid below:
With that, I hope you had an amazing time exploring Egypt with me, let me know your thoughts below in the comment box.
