The Egg Shoot Day 5 - (06/03/24)
Day 5 of filming was set to be another tiring day out in the cold with another 8am crew call time at Hartsholme Park.
Again, I dropped equipment and went to pick up one our leads from the hotel and once returning to the park we all gathered ready to get on.
Much similar to day 4, we began earlier at 9:30am with filming the remaining scenes of the conversation within the field between our main two characters.
However, we realised as we began filming that trees were being cut down within the same area as us and this greatly impacted sound.
Nonetheless, we carried out filming and this day I had a line producer with me who I have worked with on a few other projects, allowing us to feel more chilled about timings on our schedule.
We had an early lunch which helped lift spirits, as both cast and crew morale had definitely lowered after many days of filming.
After lunch, we had a new set up by the lakeside which we swiftly got ready and blocked out to be as successful as possible. We then realised sound was yet another issue, as planes and wildlife became more prominent causing us to stop a lot.
Even though, we still managed to finish ahead of schedule and I made my way back with equipment and our actor for the day.
Now onto our final day of filming!
