As a business owner, we oftentimes get too busy to think back to those reasons we started this journey. We're too caught up in the financials, deals, networking, the list goes on and on and on.
One day you'll wake up and say, wow - what just happened? I'm no longer doing the work I loved doing when I first got started.
That day, well, for me it was today. I realized that I no longer have the bandwidth to do the piece I once loved and I have to be okay with that. I have to be humble enough to delegate the tasks to others and trust that my decision to bring that person on the team was the right choice. I need to hire out work to people that are better than me. I need to stay in my own lane and focus on the things that are bringing in more business.
You cannot expect to flourish in your business if you aren't humble enough to know your weaknesses. I learn something new every single day and no day is ever the same. Bring on people who are going to build you up throughout the process.
Hire slow - fire fast.
