Efficient synthesis of α,α-difluoromethylene amines from thioamides

gem-Difluoromethylene group is an important fluorinated motif, mainly in medicinal chemistry. Very recently, Hu and Coll. published a simple procedure to prepare α,α-difluoromethylene amines from thioamides using AgF (150 €/5g) as presented in the Scheme below. [1]
