How does it work??Gazpacho Energy measures the electricity used and updates the data every 30 seconds. The information is securely stored in the cloud and displayed via a user-friendly interface, where energy usage can be viewed in terms of amperes, kWh or cost. The system is cost-effective and allows for the installation of a large number of sensors.?

Gazpacho Energy helps identify energy waste during both production and idle periods. In one instance, the system revealed that energy costs for a machine were at 45% even when it wasn’t operating.?

How We Discovered Energy Surprises Together with ABENA Sverige

At Virtual Manufacturing, we have collaborated with?ABENA?to monitor the energy consumption of their machine TVL-4 using Gazpacho Energy. The project initially aimed to track energy consumption per item but expanded to include both production and idle energy use.?

One insight from this work was that the machine consumed a significant 45% of its energy in idle mode compared to full production. During summer shutdown, when the machine was in idle mode, this insight was striking.?
