In the first place, digital twin is data storage. It is the foundation of all further actions. The problem is that data value is limited by its scope. But the majority of business processes need not the data but its derivatives. This means that it gets the highest value during processing and transformation.?

Problem

The current solutions are not effective because they use BIM data “as is”, but not the way the end business process requires. Moreover, the majority of solutions offer manual or semi-manual method of working with data. Such work is not a part of unified automated workflow. Such work equals a lot of human factor, reducing the value and results predictability.

Solution

This is why we created Tangl. Tangl is a ELT platform for exporting, loading and transforming BIM data. In other words – to manage it and make it useful for everyday practice in different business scenarios.

We have simple and clear process where digital twin is the initial source. This data looks more like a tangled ball than clear information tree.

Therefore the platform?implements?all the variety of scenarios of working with BIM assets. Also Tangl is not limited by?using attributive and geometric information from the model.

The components of information model?can have?additional?and?derived data that we can use. For example, parametrization, behavior rules, MEP connections, safety zones, etc.

Tangl is primarily a platform, but there's more to it. These are also services implementing applied scenarios.

For example service?Control – automated pipeline and expert system for coordination, validation and audit of digital twins.?And Value – service?that?calculates?any estimated?metrics in any?structure and?decomposition.
