“Efficiency is doing better what is already being done” (Peter Drucker)
Many of you already know that my new startup, ‘cloudficient’, is due to begin its operations and enter the market with the beginning of Microsoft Ignite 2017. The last couple of weeks were a very exciting experience for me, talking to customers, partners and people that are about to join the cloudficient team. There is a key moment in all of these conversations – a point where the passion of what we’re trying to do takes over, and someone sees for the first time what cloudficient is really all about, and what amazing things it can do for them!
The idea started as a simple one, and was for many years simply impractical. However, recent advances in machine learning, AI and Anomaly Detection are making some amazing things possible, and we’re very excited to be applying this to the Microsoft Cloud Environments in new ways. Seeing this simple idea grow and gain complexity, and begin to achieve more than I had ever hoped. It’s humbling, in a way, to see how this suddenly has the potential to revolutionize the way so many companies do business!
I suppose I’ve been mysteriously vague long enough though. My marketing team would not take it well if I told you everything before we go live during Ignite’s keynote Monday morning, but…
…whist they aren’t looking, I can quickly tell you that we will provide a revolutionary experience affecting the way you handle Office 365 operations, management and how you support it… and that’s just the start.
Watch out for the press-releases that will be issued on Monday. I’m pretty sure you will be excited!
I hope I’ve at least made you curious! I also hope that you’ll let me know what you think about our ideas and approaches.
I would like to leave you with a Quote from Bill Gates:
“The first rule of any technology used in a business is that automation applied to an efficient operation will magnify the efficiency.”
