【Pharmacologic action】 Pharmacodynamics: Florfenicol, belongs to the amide alcohols, a broad-spectrumantibiotic, hasstrongantibacterial activity for a variety of G+, G- bacteria, mycoplasma. Florfenicol, is a kind of antibacterial agent, inhibit bacterial protein synthesis through combining with ribosome 50s subunits. In vitro, the antimicrobial activity of florfenicol is similar to or better than chloramphenicol or thiamphenicol for many microorganism, some bacteria resistent to chloramphenicol for acetylation, such as E.coli, klebsiella pneumonia may be still sensitive to florfenicol. Pasteurella hemolytica, pasteurella multocida and actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae are highly sensitive to florfenicol. Pharmacokinetics Florfenicol is absorbed quickly by orally. The medcine concentration inthebloodcan achieve treatment about 1 hour later, and reach the peak between 1 to 3 hours. The bioavailabilityis more than 80%. Florfenicol, widely distributed in the body, can pass through the blood-brainbarrier.Florfenicol is mainly excreted in urine and in small amounts through feces.

【Indication】Used for bacterial disease caused by sensitive bacteria in pig, chicken and fish, for example, pasteurella hemolytica, pasteurella multocida and actinobacillus pleuropneumoniaewhichcan cause the respiratory disease of pigs. Typhoid and paratyphoid fever caused by salmonella, chicken cholera, pullorosis, escherichia coli disease, etc.; fish bacterial sepsis, inflammatorybowel disease, red skin disease caused by fish pasteurella, vibrio, staphylococcus aureus, aeromonas hydrophila, enterritis bacteria, etc.

【Drug interaction】

(1) The targets of macrolides and linolamines are the same, both combiningwithbacterial ribosomal 50s subunits. It can cause antagonism when they are used together.

(2) This product may have antagonism with penicillin or aminoglycoside drugs, but it has not yet beendemonstrated in animal body.

【Adverse reactions】
