To be an effective leader… I work out every day.

I need some good 'ol sweat and movement in my life every day… how about you?
I've done the same yoga warm up since my youngest was born - everything is based off my kids ages - so that means 10 years. I opened my own company & we had 3 under 3 at home - mama needed some yoga in her life.
You know the show The Biggest Loser - yep - best $8.88 I ever spent on a DVD. Bob Harper's voice is my calm… I follow him on IG & if my volume is actually up on my phone & I hear his voice - my mind immediately thinks downward facing dog.
After my 20mins of Bob I go to 1 of my 3 workouts: bosu ball, treadmill or cycle bike.
- Bosu ball - have you seen that weird ball thing that's a half a ball & half a flying saucer? That's the name of it - bosu. It's magical. I have this lil routine I made up after watching endless hours of YouTube videos. Lots of bouncing, lifting & some actual work with a full sized exercise ball when it comes to the ab portion.
- Treadmill - this is my fav workout because I can watch Ellen while I'm running. When the audience screams I pretend they're cheering me on. I do intervals & inclines - I just was able to hit some new milestones for myself.
- Cycle bike….. Ahhhhhhhh….. My butt bone will never be the same & I cuss a lot at the screen. But it's a great work out and I usually save this one for days I need to be out the door early. I can do a 20min cycle class, cuss a hand full of times & be in the car in record time. Doe
Does anyone out there have a NordicTrack cycle bike? What are your favorite classes?
Side note - tips for after work out hair care…
Dry shampoo - this wonderful white magic spray may have been invented when my grandmother was a child but it's still killing it in 2020.
Fellas - take note as well - it's not good to wash your hair every day. I wash my hair once a week & I blow dry that exercise sweat into my hair & dry shampoo the crap out of it.
Yes - you read that correctly - crinkle your nose all you want… it's a combo I never thought I would love but man - do I!
Fun lil' secret - that's why I'm blonde. Killing your hair with the bleach helps with the process mentioned above. If you think I'm a dirt bag - try it - I promise you - you will LOVE your hair so much better dirty.
In case anyone is wondering - I use Batiste Dry Shampoo (https://www.batistehair.com)
I chatted with one of their representatives & not only do they have some amazing products they're also dedicated to helping hunger relief:
Most recently, Church & Dwight donated $1 million to national and local non-profit organizations dedicated to hunger relief efforts. The donations consisted of $500,000 distributed among nine New Jersey food banks and soup kitchens, and $500,000 to Feeding America, the nation's largest hunger-relief organization
