Stop Making Quick, Snappy Decisions: Slow Down and Make Effective ones
Decisions are part of everyday life, and we make most of them without any conscious awareness. We make small decisions about what to wear, who to hang out with, what to eat for breakfast, whether or not we should go get that coffee at the café down the street before heading into work. However, we also need to make bigger, more important decisions, and these are the ones we really need to think about. All too often men are encouraged to make quick, snappy, cutthroat decisions but in reality, if you slow down and take the time to actually think about the decision you are making then you will have a better outcome.?
When you make a decision, it's important to be confident in your actions. Snap decisions can lead you down the wrong path, which will cause stress and anxiety later on. It’s very hard for men who have been conditioned to hurry up and get things done quickly because they don't want their boss or partner to think they are lazy or slow. In reality, it’s just a way of life that you have to change. It's about learning and practising to slow down and tap into a deeper layer of consciousness which can help us make confident decisions while at the same time free up the mind from anxiety-inducing thoughts.
Do you feel like there's a lack of focus and clarity in your life? When you make decisions do they seem to be haphazard and unplanned? Do you find yourself making the same mistakes over and over again? There is an answer for those who are looking for it. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how to make the right decisions for you. Therefore, it’s about enabling you to find the method and the process that works best for you so that you can make effective decisions not only at work but also in all areas of life.?
How can slowing down help?
By slowing down, we clear our minds and we’re able to concentrate on the decision.?A simple way to think about it is to imagine a large crystal vase full of water and mud. If you keep shaking the vase the water looks dirty, and you won’t be able to see through. But if you stop the shaking and you put the vase down, after a while, the mud will drop down and the water will clear, allowing you to see through with more clarity.?
There are time times in life when making quick decisions is the right thing to do and that’s a skill that is we can all benefit from. But there are also times, especially when it comes to the big decisions, where slowing down is a much better route. By slowing down we can see things more clearly, get a wider range of perspective, and from that slower pace, the right answers come.??
The AND THEN WHAT? programme will show you how confident decision making can lead to freedom. You will learn some valuable techniques that will help you slow down, take time, and really think about the decisions that impact your life on a daily basis.

It’s exciting, fun, even exhilarating, but it’s also challenging and involves honesty and a deep level of commitment. It is based on the CROP? Method which I created as a very simple yet effective framework that enables the group to progress while each man controls his own pace and level of intensity. CROP? is based on over 25 years of deep self-exploration and extensive research; it gives you a rich variety of tools that will enable you to grow in confidence and have courage in your decisions.
