The effect of milled light chambers

In our first newsletter we want to talk about the amazing effect of milled light chambers in solid wood luminaires. It is our latest development and we are excited to introduce it to the public NOW.

This production technic on solid wood luminaires has 2 main advantages:

1. Firstly it is reduces unwished side materials like plastic and metal to an absolute minimum level which makes the product even more sustainable and easy to recycle.
2. Secondly it creates a the outstanding decorative effect by illuminated wood textures with light and shadow effects.

Small lenses with the possibility of different beam angles are creating the light distribution and keeping the efficacy on the highest possible level.

It means, that the milled chambers have no significant influence on the light characteristics and can be produced in many different shapes. From the very smooth surface, step or angled surfaces or even shapes of other interior design elements. This enables #architects and #interior #desginers an amazing freedom and competition advantage in projects.

Just think about the effect of many classic luminaires in the space with low ambient light!

In many cases the colours and materials of the luminaire bodies get lost and what stays left is just a dark silhouette of original beautiful designed lighting fixtures.

We strongly believe that the technic with milled light chambers is a game changer in design of solid wood luminaires. It combines general and decorative lighting with the possibility to match the illumination with the overall interior architecture.
