The research aimed to assess the impact of Lacoamide monotherapy (LCM) on sleep among individuals with focal epilepsy. Findings indicated that LCM monotherapy had a positive influence on sleep architecture in these patients. Notably, improvements in sleep efficiency, decreased sleep latency, and reduced wakefulness after sleep onset were observed during follow-up, suggesting enhanced sleep stability and continuity for individuals undergoing LCM treatment.
