Hello there,

Today, I wanted to write about the Efecte?ITSM solution. Who is Efecte? Our paths crossed with Efecte three months ago. A Finnish company that aims to have happy employees and happy customers. Helping organizations to digitize and automate their service processes; it is an agile European alternative to giants that have many solutions from IT service management to improving employee experiences, workflows, and customer service. Due to its cost advantage is an ideal solution, especially for medium-sized enterprises, the public sector, and local service providers. ITSM also offers SaaS platform for ESM and IAM. It has offices in Finland, Sweden, and Germany. In the matrix where Research in Action ranks the manufacturers in this regard in Germany, it is among the market leaders, and when I look at the 2021 scores, it ranks in Top ?5 among the leaders with 8.61 points. The ISG Provider Lens lists Efecte as a "Rising Star" in Germany among ESM Tool providers. Developed in accordance with best practice models: "ISO 27001", "Serview Certified Tool 19 Practices", "PinkVERIFY".

First, "why do we need a good IT service management tool?" I want to answer this question. We need a good IT service management solution to increase efficiency, ensure synchronization between units, automate primary processes, eliminate chaos in processes that have not yet been automated, manage changes in a controlled manner, and increase self-service opportunities.

You can get Efecte's solution from Efecte Cloud, alternatively, you can also get it from the private cloud on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or you can use the solution on-premise.

Efecte's ITSM solution comprises of Service Management processes such as incident, event, request, and change, General Management processes such as demand, information security management, supplier management. Service Configuration Management in the Configuration Management Database Base (CMDB) includes Technical Management Applications such as Distribution Management. Efecte's ITSM solution is compliant with best practice IT Service Management Frameworks latest version ITIL 4.

ITIL 4 Service management practices cover ITIL's more operational activities, specifically the IT Service Desk. Service management practices organize service operations and enable them to work more effectively with interconnected event, information, change, and problem management functions. ?Efecte ITSM Solution caters to ?core service management practices Incident Management Problem Management, Service Request Management, Service Level Management, Configuration Management, Change Enablement, Release Management & Service Desk. It also includes other service management practices Service Catalogue Management, Capacity and Performance management, Service Continuity Management, Availability Management, Monitoring & Event Management.

We can define Efecte Service Configuration Management as the end-to-end management and traceability of a configuration in every aspect. Real-time configuration management enables efficient use and localization of enterprise assets. Configuration management, and specifically the management of relationships between configuration items, enhances IT Operations Managers' ability to understand the interdependencies of assets and their impact on each other.

Thanks to the Efecte Configuration Management Database (CMDB), we can get a holistic view of enterprise assets. The solution's flexible nature allows organizations to create the templates they want for asset and configuration management. The self-service portal can retrieve real-time configuration item information from the Configuration Management Database for short event reports and cases. The Visual Analyzer shows at a glance how any configuration item relates to processes, individuals, and other entities.

Service Configuration Management contains the components of Service Catalog Management, Application Management, IT Asset Management, Software Asset Management, Availability Management, Capacity Management, Configuration Audits, Service Continuity Management.

Efecte ITSM solution contains ITIL 4 General Management Practices like Information security management, Financial Management, Measurement and Reporting, Knowledge Management, Project Management, Relationship Management & Supplier Management.

The most important component of Technical Management Applications is Deployment Management. With Distribution Management, we move new or modified assets to live environments. Efecte's ITSM solution simplifies deployment with two functions it offers: Deployment Pipeline and Builds. The Deployment Pipeline defines the order of assemblies to be deployed for an entity such as a service, cloud solution, server, or software application. A build is referred to as a single instance of a new deployment at a given time within the Deployment Pipeline.

Another strength of Efecte's ITSM solution is that many roles are pre-configured in the solution according to ITIL processes. So these roles come out of the box already ready. With the ready-to-use archiving feature, you can improve search performance, ensure compliance with data privacy legislation, and systematically enforce a data retention policy.

The ITSM solution is configured to allow anonymization of contact records by default. The irreversible anonymization feature changes the value of the First Name, Last Name, and Email field to "Anonymized". All data cards that refer to the contact data card are also updated with "Anonymized" values.

While I have summarized the features of Efecte's ITSM solution above, I must specifically state that this solution provides all services from a single platform. Figure 1 illustrates this holistic view very clearly.

When I read customer success stories, I saw the particular emphasis on the solution's features like flexible, agile, easy-to-use, adaptable, secure, effective, cost-effective, Easy-to-deploy.

When we say an ITSM solution, it is one of the indispensable things if there is no integration into our existing systems. The Efecte ITSM platform is versatile, and of course, integrations, therefore, need to be just as versatile. Efecte, whom I met recently, impressed me a lot due to the platform features and the close attention, meticulous work, and constructive behavior of Efecte employees who conveyed the solution to us.

If I were to summarize the Efecte Platform, I would say that it offers many unique features not found in other solutions without requiring integrations, complex configurations, or compromises. Regarding the integration capability, Istekki director Kristo Jokela said, "We had a structure of 10 different systems. Now Istekki runs only 2 main systems: Efecte and another integrated system for invoicing.".

We all know that even simple business processes involve multiple departments. That's why we need an efficient platform to help teams improve collaboration, data sharing and ultimately improve experiences across the organization. Efecte's ITSM platform offers all these features we need in a quality, agile and cost-effective way. So what are we still waiting for to experience the platform?
