EESL Invites Bids for 2,000 MWp DCR-Compliant Monocrystalline Solar PV;EUSUSO Denmark and REnergy Partner to Build CBG Plants in India and More...

Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has announced an invitation for sealed bids from eligible bidders for an annual rate contract to supply approximately 2,000 MWp of Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) compliant Monocrystalline Solar PV Modules across India. The tender will be conducted on a domestic competitive bidding basis under a secured e-procurement procedure.


Under the India-Denmark Green Strategic Partnership, EUSUSO-Denmark (European Sustainable Solutions) ApS and REnergy Dynamics (RED) have signed a landmark letter of intent to collaborate on establishing state-of-the-art Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plants in India. This exclusive joint venture aims to leverage Denmark’s 40 years of expertise in CBG technology to significantly contribute to India’s growing CBG industry.


The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) in New Delhi issued an order in response to Petition. The petition, submitted by Pachora Power Transmission Limited, sought the grant of a transmission license under Sections 14, 15, and 79(1)(e) of the Electricity Act, 2003. The request was made in accordance with the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for Grant of Transmission Licence and other related matters) Regulations, 2009. The petition aimed to establish a transmission system for the evacuation of power from renewable energy projects in the Rajgarh (1,000 MW) SEZ in Madhya Pradesh, Phase II, on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer basis.


A significant decision was made by the Andhra Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (APERC) regarding a dispute involving multiple solar companies and the Southern Power Distribution Company of Andhra Pradesh (SPDCL), among other respondents. The case centered on several financial claims made by the solar companies against SPDCL for various dues related to power supply agreements.


The GIFT Power Company Limited (GIFT PCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gujarat International Finance Tec-city Company Limited (GIFT CL), has submitted a petition to the Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) regarding its Renewable Purchase Obligation (RPO) compliance for the fiscal year 2022-23. GIFT PCL operates as a distribution licensee in the GIFT City area, supplying electricity as per the license granted by GERC in 2013.
