Eemits Communications has worked closely with a Teesside wind farm to enhance their current two-way communication capabilities via its centralised control room.

Eemits Communications has a strong existing relationship with the global renewable energy provider, having installed effective two-way radio solutions for over 36 of their onshore and offshore wind farms in the UK.

And most recently, we've worked with them to facilitate the upgrade of a new control room - that incorporates the use of two brand new PC desktop dispatchers to aid the safe and efficient running of the site - that sits off the coast of Redcar and has 27 offshore turbines.?

The request came as staff were moving from a now "old" control room to a new facility - so our Engineering team were tasked with supporting the moving of equipment, but also making sure their handheld radios worked with minimal disruption.?

With a new control room in place, new PC desktops that give them access to a comprehensive system that connects directly to their Motorola R7 radios.

Via our TRBOCALL dispatcher desktop application, control room operators have the ability to track worker location, speak directly on group or all-staff calls, and react to emergency alarms.?

Staff are also able to communicate with both their own Marine Control Centre and also with a sister site that is located in Blyth.

There's also the flexibility to communicate with any other of their sites in the UK - giving end users the right communication tools to improve worker safety, productivity, and efficiency.?
