With the help of Mike Swier and Dan Rey, we have finalized setting up the virtual memorial service for Ed. The virtual service will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2023 between 2 P.M. Central Standard Time to 4 P.M. Central Standard Time. For those folks that already have existing plans, it is my intention to record the event and post the recording for those who were not able to attend. For those who are “technologically-challenged”, I recommend to join a small gathering with a technologically experienced friend or associate.

1. The registration information dialog box will appear:

1. Fill in your first name, last name, and email address (Note: This list will not be used for any other purpose besides sending Thank You notes).
2. If you have a memory you would like to share, please include under the “Share a memory about Ed.” I am not exactly sure how many plain unformatted text characters it will allow, just keep typing until the text stops appearing. (DO NOT hit Enter while typing because that may proceed in registering you for the event without finishing your memory).
3. Once you have read and agreed to the Microsoft Event Terms and Conditions, click the checkbox.
4. Click the Register button.
5. Once you have registered the event page will appear as follows. Instructions to the right will say, “You’ll be able to join starting 15 minutes before the event begins.”

1. On 2/19/23, just click on the same link above and click the Join button.
2. Let’s celebrate a BEAUTIFUL HUMAN BEING. If you got a “good” tie dye shirt or your BEST MVP/Microsoft shirt, wear it!...show it!...a bandana is good, too!
