Educators are the heroes
Andrew Smith SFHEA FRSA ????
UK Academic, HE in FE Specialist, Digital Technology Skills Evangelist, EDI Hero (according to WorldSkillsUK), Author & National Qualification Consultant [degrees | vocational | vendor | academic | apprenticeships]
Above is a photo shoot, including educators from eleven Cisco Academies I work with - all successful in their own domain, own way and own right. At OU Cisco - it isn't about us, it is purely about how we can help develop the community, the educators and therefore their practice helping them reach, teach and develop their students.
What was great, was the extensive community at I met over the last few days and learning about all the great things they are all 'up to'. I would encourage anyone in Cisco to explore working with CompTIA amongst others - it isn't solely about Cisco Networking Academy - essentially, anyway we can give students the skills to make them sufficiently dangerous and professionally competent. Then, I know that we have all done something good.
Therefore a shoutout goes to Derrin Kent , Rebecca Harrop , Chiraag Swaly , Mark Downing , Benjamin Franklin , Aaron Saxton , Jane Dickinson , Peter Robinson , Adam Connell , Nicole Donnelly and Daniel Hulatt and the others I cannot tag.
If you are a Cisco NetAcad or NetAcad hero, I would love to meet you, discover what can be accomplished and maybe add you to my hall of fame.
