1 年Luis, I agree that prioritizing professional development that goes beyond new skills or knowledge is critical to keeping educators in the profession. Giving teachers training to become peer coaches can create an environment of support and empathy that is often lacking in schools, simply because there aren't structures in place to build these things into the work environment. With peer coaching people would have a go-to person when they need help, support, or just someone who will listen in an encouraging and supportive way.

1 年Impressive and I would like to add leadership and administration of school districts do need to promote a culture of learning. Mentoring and openness for your staff to beleive you are looking to have them grow within your organizational community. The school system then needs to put money, programs, and time made available for the staff to purse improving their educational skills. Highly qualified faculty and administrators can evolve from within a long as a professional development program is honored.
