Educational Events are the Best for Small Businesses!

When I reflect on last week activities, I have to highlight two outstanding ones, and I am sure that certain women who lead were responsible for their success. First, I attended the 3rd Annual Women's Symposium hosted by Bryant & Stratton which focused on the women in leadership for four of our region's nonprofit leaders. These panelists were awesome in sharing how they felt about their way of giving back to the needs in our community and how women must find the passion for which they will step up to support: Michelle Ellis Young , Jill Queen , Edith White , and Tracy Keller . Alex Pircer shined as the moderator for the panel. Behind the scenes, but always making everything the best was Carolene Goodwyn-Harris who I appreciate in so many ways...especially, her can-do attitude, ability to make everyone in a room feel welcome, and much more.

The other event was new, a series focused on marketing from several different aspects. I congratulate Lauren Roberts Carter , and her Committee for developing a very interactive format to focus on branding, mission and more. Though this is my lifelong career, I always learn something new or find a good reminder or two. Congrats on the first one of the series!

I think the pandemic rejuvenated us for looking at educational events differently. I love promoting, training, and producing educational events to assist our small businesses to build their brand, protect their reputation, and increase their revenue!
