Education and Solidarity Make a Difference

Education and Solidarity Make a Difference

I grew up in a family where education and generosity were fundamental pillars. That is why, since my youth, I've always felt that sharing and helping others was both a duty and a privilege. Today, at In Spanish, I continue to carry forward that mission, not only by teaching languages but also by actively participating in charitable causes.

Every year, we donate Spanish courses to various institutions and schools, supporting education and offering opportunities to those who need them most. But our commitment doesn't end there.

Personally, I am part of the organizing committee of Mujeres x Mujeres, a group of women in Australia that provides economic support to the "Trabajo, Alegría y Saber" Civil Association in Argentina. This association assists about 350 families in impoverished areas, providing food, clothing, medicine, and crucially, education and resources for children and the elderly.

Participating in these initiatives fills me with happiness. Indeed, I have always felt that giving makes me happier than receiving. This philosophy has guided my personal life and our school's mission. I believe that while it alleviates some of the burdens of the recipient, it also enriches the soul of the giver.

From a young age, during my high school years, I was involved in helping children in underprivileged homes. These early experiences showed me the difference one person can make, and they have shaped the initiatives I lead today.

Looking to the future, I dream of expanding our reach by sponsoring the education of underprivileged children, guided by a proverb that I am very fond of: "Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach a man to fish and he will eat for the rest of his life."

In summary, my work at In Spanish and my involvement in charitable causes are not just parallel activities, but expressions of the same vision: a world where support and education reach everyone, and where each of us can contribute to that change.

Through education and solidarity, we build a stronger, more empathetic community. Thank you to everyone who joins us in this mission. Together, I firmly believe we are making a difference.

Carolina, you are an inspiration to many. I have been honoured in the past to be involved in some of your activities. And you are right, giving is a much better feeling than receiving. And in Australia, we are in a much better position to give.
