The One thing that stands out in all of my career is the impeccable ethics that resounded on every wall of the Organization - The man who has been my inspiration to be an Ethical Leader, the IT Czar!, Mr. Ashim Hashim Premji!

?The Ethical values that he carried, the simplicity to be with the crowd during lunch times. No matter the levels of experience, he would choose to wait till his employees picked up their meal and patiently and quietly displayed the charisma of a humble leader! This has always astounded me.

?From Diversification to IT revolution, his leadership has been transformational. The sessions that I have been a part of through CHRD has been awe inspiring, from Leadership development to Customer centricity.

Man's mind once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.

Yet, One has to be wary that the stretch is positive and beneficial for oneself and for everyone around. The mural etched in stone of a book speaks of the importance that was given to transforming talents through the amazing sessions on Quality, Leadership, Decision making, High impact presentations and a lot more...

Been more than a decade since i left those doors, yet the values that i cherish from his Vision and Ethical foundation still remains deep within, driving me through every walk of life. What is important is the learning from the lessons from our work and nothing more!

Mr. Premji's leadership was characterized by a commitment to ethical values and corporate governance. Leaders should prioritize ethics and integrity in their decision-making, he said! His focus on nurturing and empowering his employees was key to Wipro's success!

The stories of his meetings with customers and his charm to tackle them in style, not giving in to anybody's whims, holding on to his Ethics, and the satire that helped to put people in their right places not only brought smiles, but also were great learnings and take aways for life! Intelligence has the ability to turn every conflict into humor. Humor is another sign of intelligence, Gurudev says. If you have humor, you will overcome any conflicting situation.?

Today, The Azim Premji Foundation speaks of Enhancing the Quality of Education in India's government schools. While Education is being offered at all levels, it is imperative that those from the lower strata of society need to be brought up to bring them some respectable standards in the society. While there are numerous initiatives that are being run on Education Equity, what one should be cognizant of is the values and Ethics with which the initiatives are built and run to bring transformation all around!

Education and Work are those areas that go beyond all kinds of differences, beyond Religion, beyond caste or creed, beyond color, purely driven by a passion to bring a change to every strata of the society!

?A big mind with a large heart is what will bring such a transformation...!!

Saw a child once ask, "What is the need for Education, when one can be happy just by watching television and going around places. Pointing to a house help, the only answer I had was, "To be able to support people like them!"

Yes wealth is important even to be of service today, to be able to contribute to the society. Nobody can give out of an empty pocket. Philanthrophy begins with oneself and then be extended to the society. But one needs to know the difference between need and want. Purely depends on one's mindset and the purpose for which one is made, the Swadharma!

Life isn't a game of tetris to randomly click and push boxes. Though random, there is an order with which the game is played to traverse multiple levels and eventually succeed!

When there is a deep Why, the ultimate purpose, the what and how just happens, not by pushing others, not by demands, but with a clear sense of purpose, clarity and sincerity in action. No drama! An earnest effort to help each other and grow through every area of life!
