EDUCATION LEVEL AND STRATEGY IN OUR TODAY GENERATION

I wonder why there is a big difference between the education level of the previous years and today? it seems teachers now teach what they want not what they are supposed to teach, e.g i heard of a school recently where they only concentrate on money in terms of fees but rarely concentrates on the child's education and future. to an extent of giving a child home work which he / she was taught by his teacher and they seriously punish the child if he fails the work. then how do you expect the p2 child to think of a missing word or to answer what is ahead of him, i.e not yet taught to him.
