This week I had the pleasure of sitting down and speaking with Aoife Dunne , COO of Velocity Growth .
Aoife has extensive experience in the education sector having been a Training Manager at Cork Chamber, Doctoral Training Coordinator at University College Cork and Head of Training and Development for Growth University before becoming COO of the company now rebranded to Velocity Growth.
We spoke about a huge range of topics with lots of insights into being authentic, perfecting your business model, having a good sales process in place, the ups and downs of growing a business and what the future of the education sector will look like.
See the key insights from my conversation with Aoife below;
Lead with content and value?
Offer training and courses the market has demand for and cater to that demand?
Authenticity and personal branding is more critical than ever online to build trust?
Focus on output and value to students as a means to drive referrals and word of mouth?
Ungated content driven marketing that is not sales focused is crucial
The entire sales process needs to be flawless including after the sale is finished and the admissions/onboarding process starts
Data will play a crucial role in decision-making and only grow into the future
Delivering consistency in student experiences and outcomes will build the brand and sales of the college
