EDUCATION OR JUST A PAPER DEGREE??

In India, we often bother education as key to success and progress. But the scenario going on today, from school level to higher level.. the quality grade of knowledge dissemination as lowered to its verge of just been a paper worth degree in hands. The core ethics and understanding of subject is not involved and paid attention to rather the mgt goes on adding books to the curriculum of specific authors and publishers, for the sake of financial benefit and long run bonding. But if we peep through the content of the books, Its all about stories and typical word warehouse, difficult to be understood by layman or a good student. And now the trend is that take admission in school and you are REQUIRED to buy the books etc from school itself. What else.. result: The students are not able to frame their knowledge part and follow herd to opt for career.Urban areas approaching heights of standards  and dearness and suburb ignored, however the best talent and mind can be fetched out from later.

If we talk about Higher Education, practical exposure in context to topics of discipline is missing, leading to UNEMPLOYABLE YOUTH after graduation or PG... Even fake degrees can be opted out for availability for just few penny or as give and take play of currency in thousands. Researchers lack felicitation of resources and opportunities(Provided you are not an IITian or NITian). Are Non-IITian's not deserving? What is the scale to determine such decisions??

I agree with you . Most people in India just memorize every thing and the main target is to get thro the exam. Non of them think on improving their knowledge.

Really appreciate that you are questioning the way our education system is working. One of the factor leading to this is lack of good quality teachers in our system. From past many years we have focused on taking education to every corner of the country but we have failed to educate the educators itself, to reach a quality level of international/national standards. This results in low level education being imparted and thus leading to unemployment, because it is of no good to the society. Simran Bansal:- Yes, students are careless because the people who are teaching them teach with primitive ideas. where there is no place to innovate and explore. So, when the student loose hope in the institution, they tend to take it casually because the only thing they have to do is to pass in exams(according to the H.O.D(s)) of the department, then why spoil the fun of youthfulness? One thing that needs improvement is that we need good quality teachers and private company employees should be provided channels to contribute.

Weldon But we'll educated youth like to top position without working at grass roots . I m insurance professional and working for last 8 years , every day I found 90% of educated youth ignore to join in insurance industry while industry have a large potential of employment. India is largest third country having protection gap of premium Rs 367 lakh crore.
