I think everyone wants to understand the world around them better. But who wants to listen to boring lectures? I guess not a lot of people. The problem lies in the way we're teaching and studying. Before I teach something to someone, I explain why the topic is important and how it's going to add value to their lives. This can be one way to make the learners more willing to learn. There is a storytelling factor in teaching, which can help the learners stay focused. I mean if designed properly, education can be entertaining or vice versa.
