EDUCATED: A JOURNEY OF SELF-DISCOVERY AND THE POWER OF EDUCATION

Last night, I finished Educated by Tara Westover and immediately had a strong feeling, but I cannot pinpoint the name of the feeling I got; I felt lonely in my thoughts and how I related her experiences to mine, but at the same time I didn't feel alone, I felt understood and inspired like a sense of reassurance.

The power of education is intangible and can change how you think about the world around you and outside your bubble, which is so powerful and yet nerve-racking. I learned from Tara how you can love your family but still not agree and follow the path they want you to follow. To be okay about not being OK with being strange from your family, but to trust your gut feeling and create your path, and those kinds of decisions can only happen with an educated mind, of understanding different perspectives and, as she said on an interview with Oprah "learning to have empathy for other and yourself."

Overall, I recommed anyone experiencing Self-doubt, Discouragement, and Uncertainty in life read this beutifully written memoir. This is a FIVE STARS, and i will cherish the experience of reading it forever.
