Digital Tools
Here are some of the latest Digital Tools.
Amazy
Amazy is an AI tool that can help you build interactive lesson plans. It has the usual types of exercises that you can build into your materials, like quizzes and multiple choice questions, but you can also add speaking tasks that require students to record their answers. There is also a community where you can find ready-made lessons for free, or you can buy and sell lessons. Wonderful tool for building blended learning.
EssayGrader
EssayGrader is a real time saver for teachers. EssayGrader analyses essays for grammar, punctuation, spelling, coherence, clarity and writing style errors, then provides detailed reports of the errors found and suggestions on how to fix those errors. The error reports help speed up grading times by quickly highlighting mistakes made in the essay. You can even get it to produce rubrics and mark the essays against the selected rubric.
Lingolette
This is a great independent language study app that focuses on developing skills and vocabulary. It does this by supplying short articles for you to read and listen to. You can pick out vocabulary words that you want to learn and then discuss the articles with the AI bot using voice input. This is a great way to boost your language learning.
Udio for Creating Songs
Udio is a fascinating AI tool for generating music and songs. You can just choose the subject and style and Audio will produce a song for you along with the music. You can then play the songs to your students in class. I don't think Taylor Swift has much to worry about yet, but it's still a nice way of creating a song based on a specific theme or vocabulary you'd like to review.
DrawCharts
This is a great tool if you want to have graphs that look like they are hand/artist drawn. Just put in your data and the graphs with be created for free.
