EDSO opening: paid internship to follow the Clean Energy Package Trilogues

At EDSO for Smart Grids we are searching for an Intern to stay with us at least until the end of 2018 with the specific task to follow the Trilogues towards the approval of the Clean Energy for all European Package. The task will concentrate on the interinstitutional negotiations phase for the Electricity Directive, Electricity Regulation, partially the Rules for the regulator ACER. Trilogues are due to start in May

We look for somebody familiar with the EU Council and Parliament and Commission procedures in this respect and interested to deep dive in the subject at full speed to support a small, truly international staff, advocating for the largest electric power distribution system operators in Europe. Additionally, a degree in law or EU policy related subjects is expected, while excellent mastering of written and spoken English is mandatory; a decisive asset will be proficiency in German at native, near native level. The intern will support the Policy team reporting to the Senior Policy Officer. Ideally start date for the internship could be, according to the availability of the selected candidate, in the first half of April.
