Editor In Chief's Message: Just What Does It Mean For Me to be a King and Priest of God!

When you come to think about it as a Leader and Minister of God's Church I have a very IMPORTANT role and OFFICE to carry about and to exercise while still living in this flesh as a human being who is filled with God's Holy Spirit and who has been CALLED, ORDAINED and PREDESTINED to be a member of the PREBYSTERY (the Ecclesiastical Leaders of God's Church), to be a BISHOP and "overseer" of the flock, an Apostle (One Sent Forth to Preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God), an Evangelist and Teacher of God's Word and a PROPHET. But most importantly I've been called to be a KING and PRIEST of GOD!

One of the scriptural proofs – and there are several - of God’s master plan for my life of success as His Servant can be?found in the book of Revelation 5: 9-10. Excerpts from the scripture reads,?…"And (You, Christ) have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation, and have made us kings and priests to our God; and we shall reign on the earth” (NKJV). Also it reads in Revelation 1 verse 6:.."And hath made us kings and priests unto God (Jesus) and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever." No ambiguity; the Blood of Jesus had empowered me to succeed on earth as His "official" King and Priest under Him.?And no that does not apply ONLY to the soon coming Kingdom of God upon earth, if you notice it says: "and have made us" that is past tense not "we shall be" as in future tense and as many of God's Ministers of the Churches of God all over the world have preached and have taught for ages! We don't have to wait for Christ to return and establish His Kingdom upon the earth to then become Kings and Priests under Him WE ALREADY ARE!

The Message Bible (MSG) rendition of Revelations 5: 9-10 is quite apt. It reads, "Paying in blood, you bought men and women, bought them back from all over the earth, bought them back for God. Then you made them Kings and Priests for our God, Priest-kings to rule over the earth.”??By the way in God's coming Kingdom men and women will have no gender and will be "sexless" as transformed humans into spirit beings who look exactly like GOD! As Jesus said and explained in Matthew 22:30: "For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven (sexless)." This is why we will ALL be KINGS and PRIESTS in God's Kingdom!

The ‘Kings and Priests’ Word of God is emphatic. Dare to believe His Word! As we have read from the quoted scripture above, God had purposefully predetermined that anyone that He has called, through the Blood of Jesus, shall not just live an ordinary life. Being a King and a Priest, spiritually elevates me into the exalted reality of an earthly monarch with future and purposeful divine existence as part of the family of GOD (Elohim). That means, while living here on earth, I have been empowered both as a natural and supernatural man indeed.?

Do not make a mistake about me being a ‘King and Priest’. This powerful gift of God is ONLY for those, in Christ Jesus, who live according to the Word of God. The TRUE challenge for us in the Church today is that we must believe and live by the divine nature and rules of God's LAW, Precepts and Statutes. In Christ, we are truly a New Creation and God’s blessings for us are based on Obedience and Faithful service to our HIGH CALLING, whose ‘author and finisher’ is our Lord Jesus Christ. God had predetermined that He would create a new kind of people for Himself not based on the ritualistic Mosaic Laws and Ordinaces of the old Levitical Priesthood.?"But now we are delivered from the (penalty of) the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter." Romans 7:6.

Psalm 102: 17-18 reads, “He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer. This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.” Take note of the part that said ‘the people which shall be created’. The Holy Spirit, through the Psalmist, was obviously referring to those who would be called and become "converted" as the spiritual children of God now. More so, the Holy Spirit, also speaking through the prophet Isaiah, confirmed the coming of the New Creation by Christ Jesus.?

Chapter 66:8 of Isaiah reads, “Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once? For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children (NKJV). Here too, there is no ambiguity in this scripture. It is clear a people that did not exist hitherto would be born, that is, created one day. And that ‘one day’ epitomizes the lifetime of Jesus Christ includes His birth, death, burial and resurrection by the Power of the Holy Spirit.?

Every person in the New Creation, that will be Born Again in Christ, has received the Holy Spirit. From His coming on the Day of Pentecost (Acts of Apostles 2:1-4) till date believers in Christ Jesus are still receiving the Holy Spirit. This was not the case for the Old Testament believers. Only their leaders, including some judges, prophets and kings, had the Holy Spirit.?

Oh, then why do you, if you are a Holy Spirit filled Christian today, do not take full advantage of the power of God in you? This is what our Lord Jesus Christ meant when He told His disciples ‘not to put a new wine in an old bottle, nor to patch an old cloth with a new one; because the old wine bottle would burst and the new cloth would tear off’ (Matthews 9:16-17). Hence, Jesus said to ‘put a new wine in a new bottle’; so must we, the "New Creation", must live in the newness of the Spirit as we read in Romans 6: 1-4: "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? Know ye not, that so many of us were baptized into Jesus Christ (we) were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life." In Ephesians 4:17-24 Paul admonishes us thus: "This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles (or the Heathen) walk, in the vanity of their mind, Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the (blind) ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart (mind): Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work ALL uncleanness with greediness. But ye have not so learned Christ; If so be that ye have heard Him, and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness." "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, ALL things are become NEW! And ALL things are of God, who hath (also) reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of (loving) reconciliation; To wit, that God was (always) in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Now then we (Kings and Priests of God) are Ambassadors for Christ (representing His soon coming Kingdom upon earth), as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God." 2 Corinthians 5:17-20.

Accordingly, the "New Creation" man, filled with the Holy Spirit, had received Power to live his lifetime as a king and priest. You see, it is the Holy Spirit that daily enables me to achieve extraordinary success in anything that I ‘lay my hands to do’ - which is how kings live. "I can do ALL things through Christ which strengtheneth me." (Philippians 4:13) The same Holy Spirit would position me to ‘minister to before God’ – which is the duty of a priest. In this regard, the most important question if you also want to be part of God's Kingdom is, ‘are you filled with the Holy Spirit?’ Please, know that you are not a Christian without the Holy Spirit (Romans 8:9)?

TRUE Believers and TRUE Ministers of God like me walk with confidence. You see, you cannot fail in life if you believe and trust God’s Word that you are a king and priest. All things are possible to him that believes (Mark 9:23). The biblical king David is an example of being a king and priest. God took David from shepherding to become the king of Israel. David also directly, and regularly, discussed and inquired with God on many issues, using the ‘Urin and Thummin’ – an Israelite priestly tool of communicating with God. Today I use another method called: "The Holy Oracles of God". David of course had the Holy Spirit. That is how come he could write most of the Books of Psalms. David was an ordinary man that God transformed into a king of Israel and he also performed priestly activities.?

Evidently, God meant David as an example of you and me: the "New Creation" in Christ Jesus. Isaiah 55: 3-4 reads, “Incline your ear, and come to Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you – the sure mercies of David. Indeed I have given him as a witness to the people, A leader (King) and commander for the people” (NKJV).?

With God, nothing is impossible. If God would make the human David to become and successfully live as a king and priest, would it be impossible for God to also make you a king and priest? So long as you have the Holy Spirit and you prayerfully commit your endeavors to Him, you shall have an outstanding lifetime. According to God’s master plan for you, being a "New Creation", as a King and Priest you shall magnificently succeed in your industry and also fulfill your spiritual purpose in Christ.?Just take a look at a GREAT example of a King in the Old Testament who did the right thing in the eyes of the LORD, King Uzziah: "And he sought God in the days of Zechariah (the Prophet), who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper" 2 Chronicles 26:5. The Psalmist gives us Kings and Priests the following advice: "And in thy majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things." Psalm 45:4. See also verse 9: "Kings' daugthers were among thy honorable women: upon thy right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir." I'm still waiting for this prophecy to be fulfilled in my time! King David also wrote a Psalm that can very well apply also to me TODAY: "The king shall joy in thy strength, O LORD; and in thy salvation how greatly shall he rejoice! Thou hast given him his heart's desire, and hast not withholden the request of his lips. Selah. (Meditate and Ponder on That!). For thou preventest him with the blessings of goodness: thou settest a crown of pure gold on his head. He asked life of thee, and thou gavest it him, even length of days for ever and ever (God did promise me a very long life and existence). His glory is GREAT in thy salvation: honor and majesty hast thou laid upon him. For thou hast made him most blessed for ever: thou hast made him exceeding glad with thy countenance. For the king trusteth in the LORD, and through the mercy of the Most High he shall not be moved. Thine hand shall find out ALL thine enemies: thy right hand shall find out those that hate thee. Thou shalt make them as a fiery oven in the time of thine anger (that time is already taking place now around the world): the LORD shall swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire shall devour them (as it continues to do in the forest fires around the world). Their fruit (their children) shalt thou destroy from the earth, and their (wicked and evil) seed from among the children of men. For they intended evil against thee: they imagined a mischievous device (AGENDA 2030) which they are not able to perform (because Christ will return before then). Therefore shalt thou make them turn their back, when thou shalt make ready thine arrows upon thy strings against the face of them. Be thou exalted, LORD, in thine own strength: so we (as your Kings and Priests) will sing and praise thy power (in the morning and evening sacrifice)." Psalm 21:1-13. "The king's heart (or mind) is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: He turneth it whithersoever He will." Proverbs 21:1.

Henceforth, I refuse to be hopeless and crestfallen. I AM different; I AM a New Creation. I love to study, meditate and keep praying on the promises of God for me as a king and priest. And the Holy Spirit shall definitely guide my paths, career, business, family and Christian ministry to a unique success and to God’s Glory.

Adhereing to the Apostle Peter's admonishon in 1 Peter 2:1-5: "Wherefore laying aside ALL malice (and lust), and ALL guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and ALL evil speakings, As newborn babes (a New Creation), desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: if so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious. to whom coming, as unto a living stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy (and perfect) priesthood (according to the order of Melchisedec), to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ." "By Him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name." Hebrews 13:15. This is what I do on daily basis as God's King and Priest, I offer the MORNING sacrifice of prayer and adoration by singing hymns of praise and worship and also on the EVENING sacrifice I pray and read God's Word and sing songs of worship and praise! Notice what Peter further says in 1 Peter 2:9-10: "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light: Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy."

So what does it mean to be a KING and PRIEST of God to me:

1. To be an ECCLESIASTICAL Authority! "Let every soul (in the church) be subject unto the higher powers (the kings and priests of God). For there is no power but of God: the powers that be (Kings and Priests) are ordained of God." Romans 13:1. Hence I AM an Apostle and Bishop (Overseer) over God's people.
2. To be a MESSENGER of God! "For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at His mouth: for He is the messenger of the LORD of hosts." Malachi 2:7. This is why my podcast is called: "The MESSENGER of the LORD".
3. To be FEARLESS, POWERFUL, LOVING and WISE! "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy1:7. I fear NO ONE! I've got the POWER to heal others, to cast out demons and EVIL spirits, I have supernatural strength, I have the power to raise the dead back to life, because Jesus Himself said: "And these signs shall follow them that believe (in Me); In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new (and different) tongues (like I speakEnglish, Italian, Potuguese and Spanish as well as other languages); They shall take up serpents (in my hands and they will not bite me); and if they drink any deadly thing (like poison), it shall not hurt them (NO! The Jesuits will never be able to kill me this way); they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover (I have seen many people recover from illness or sickness by my laying of hands on them and my prayer)." Mark 16:17-18. Like Tarzan I also have POWER and dominion over the animals: "For thou hast made him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put ALL things under his feet: ALL sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas (like sharks, whales, etc.)." Psalm 8:6-8. I AM a man full of LOVE and loving kindness just like God (a man after God's own heart and mind like David was) and full of KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM just like old King Solomon was. When I used to live alone in Killeen Texas, overseeing my cats and tending and caring for them, I made myself a "makeshift" Throne in my house (as they say: "A man's home is his castle") to sit upon as the rightful KING that I AM even in this present age and time under God. And many of you will probably ask like the cynical Pilate did in John 18:37: "Pilate therefore said unto Him (Jesus), Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I AM a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice." And so just like Christ did I would say the same thing and answer you the same exact way: "For this cause came I into the world (or was born), that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice (on my podcasts)." And like Christ I would tell you also that "My kingdom is not of this world" (John 18:36) but is of the WORLD TO COME!
