?? Edition N°13: Discover how PRLab built media momentum around PLTFRM’s online marketplace launch
Welcome to the latest edition of PRLab’s newsletter! This time, we're excited to spotlight our work with PLTFRM, a rising player in IT managed services. Founded to bridge the gap between specialized service providers and customers, PLTFRM has built an online marketplace that empowers IT companies to create their own ecosystem through trusted collaborations.
In September 2021, PLTFRM officially launched its online marketplace, aiming to generate 400 leads and attract 15 new client. With a growing network of 50+ IT service partners offering 150+ specialized solutions, PLTFRM was poised for success, but they needed a PR strategy that could raise awareness and create buzz.

Our mission was clear: to increase PLTFRM’s brand visibility, build credibility, and generate excitement around the marketplace launch, all while positioning the platform as the go-to intermediary for IT services. 1. Strategic PR Planning
Before launching, we analyzed media interest in PLTFRM’s unique business model. Since this was PLTFRM’s first significant media exposure, we started by familiarizing key journalists with their vision, mission, and unique selling points (USPs). This groundwork ensured that the launch focused on the value of the marketplace and its role in shaping IT ecosystems.
2. Media Outreach & Thought Leadership
To maintain momentum during the quieter summer months, we developed thought leadership content that underscored PLTFRM’s expertise. Understanding that editorial teams are often understaffed during summer, we provided fully written content to increase our chances of media pick-up. These efforts helped us bridge the gap leading up to the official launch in September.
3. Content Creation & Launch Event
We centered our content around the marketplace launch and the value it brought to IT professionals. A week prior to the launch, we provided a select group of key journalists early access to the platform, giving them an exclusive look at how PLTFRM works. The launch event itself created a focal point for media outreach, securing invaluable coverage.
