Resilient robot teams juggle competing priorities without deadlock
A robot, or a group of robots, on a mission often have conflicting priorities.?The primary mission of a team of search and rescue robots, for example, is to find survivors.
But when they do, they also need to be able to send information to the rest of the team. The best way to find survivors may be to spread out, but the best way to send information is to stay close together. If robotic teams are going to be deployed in more real-world situations, they’re going to need a system to balance these priorities.

New Wearable Sensor Detects Even More Compounds in Human Sweat.
If you have ever had your blood drawn, whether to check your cholesterol, kidney function, hormone levels, blood sugar, or as part of a general checkup, you might have wondered why there is not an easier, less painful way.?
Now there might be. A team of researchers from Caltech's Cherng Department of Medical Engineering has unveiled a new wearable sensor that can detect in human sweat even minute levels of many common nutrients and biological compounds that can serve as indicators of human health.?

Rails are an essential part of numerous industries since they are capable of moving materials, parts, and assemblies more efficiently by using guide rails. These incredibly effective rail systems have precision-machined construction for fluid flow. In addition to being lightweight, small, and having little friction, guide rails are also simple to install. The adaptability of the robots and rails may also make it possible to rely less on static infrastructures, which are costly to maintain and replace when they malfunction.
