SkilledUp Life has a chance to be a global brand. I wasted more than a year of not making the right call. We are finally building V2 as there has not been any product innovation since we went live. At least we have 4 years of operational experience behind us to shape the V2.
Still there are no guarantees of success. Everything can go belly up at any given time. Building a bootstrapped tech startup is never easy. But you have total freedom on the direction you take and how you go about it.
Irrespective of zero product innovation, we have helped over 140 tech startups and have a skilled volunteer talent pool of 49,000 from 138 countries. A drop in the ocean when compared to our potential.We have not gone viral within the tech startup community as I hoped.
For as little as ￡30/month, you can have a team of 100+ skilled volunteers. We need to significantly educate the market that you can build tech startups with SkilledUp Lifers.
I want SkilledUp Life to be a positive movement for the world's population. We need to build a strong community. We have amazing talent. All our senior team except for two are volunteering. Most of them have day jobs. We have serious talent that you might not find anywhere else.

Many have used the experience and skills gained to find new jobs. Some have transitioned their careers successfully as a result. I can talk about the product road map but I will hold it off until V2.0 is ready. We might not trully innovate until we reach V2.5. Then it could be something I can be proud of. There are significant obstacles to get to this point. So let's leave the celebration until then, shall we, Mr. LinkedIn. ??
