Helping Professional Women in business build unshakeable confidence and know they are good enough | Mentor Award | Entrepreneur Award | Speaker
Hello there!
In this weeks newsletter ?
October is ?wrapping up and it’s a great time to reflect and set the tone for what you want to achieve in the next couple of months.?
Whether it’s a project you’re building, a skill you’re sharpening, or simply living with more intention each day, keep the momentum going. You owe it to yourself.?
Let’s dive into the week’s insights!
?
Where are you underestimating your own expertise?
I see, and hear this from professional women all the time—talented people holding back, waiting for “just a little more” knowledge or experience before they feel ready.?
It often stems from previous experiences that made us feel not good enough. I want to tell you - it's OK to put that pile of baggage down now. Enough.
And, here’s the thing: you likely have more value to offer right now than you realise. And I wonder, don't you want to put your hand down and pull other women up with you?
Instead of waiting to feel more ready, try one simple action that demonstrates your expertise this week.??
Confidence often follows action. Let me know what that action might be and what support you might need. x
?
Keep Your LinkedIn Network Warm
I've been talking LinkedIn for the whole of October! With my course The LinkedIn Daily Action Group.??
If you’re looking to keep your LinkedIn presence strong, here’s a simple strategy - start by engaging with connections you haven’t reached out to in a while.??
Aim for three messages this week to reconnect with someone in your network.?
It’s not about selling or asking for favours—just a simple “Hello, how are things going?” Maybe another quick question but really no more than that is needed.?
LinkedIn is a platform built for professional relationships, so nurture yours and let them know you’re there.?
As Tim Sanders said - "Your network is your net worth."
?
1. Cohort Update.?
The LinkedIn Daily Action Group is wrapping up too, and I’m proud of everyone who is taking part. People came in to grow their presence and are leaving with renewed confidence, clear messaging, and fresh connections.??
Keep an eye out for the next round!
2. Upcoming Corporate Offer.?
I’m exploring a new corporate offer both within my membership for professional women and my LinkedIn course, bringing the work we do into team environments.?
So many companies need real engagement and to foster deeper connections with women aged 50+ as part of their CSR and also to offer guidance on LinkedIn—this could be the next big step.
3. Message Polishing.?
I’ve been dialling in my own messaging this last couple of weeks to ensure it truly resonates with my clients. Sometimes a small tweak can make a huge impact. A strange thing happens when you make time for yourself like this by way of new directions opening up for you.?
If you’re fine-tuning your own messaging, remember that clarity and authenticity go a long way.
4. Celebrating Persistence.?
This last week, I felt the push and pull of refining my positioning.?
A recent promotion didn’t bring the results I hoped for, which had me questioning whether my unique skills—like the ability to read people and see past what they hide—are really coming through in my messaging.?
While these qualities are intangible, they’re often what clients value most once they’re in the community with me. I’m committed to finding the language that truly reflects what I offer and to staying the course despite the ups and downs.?
I'm grounded in my mission, I’m grounded in my determination more than ever to make an impact on the lives of professional women.
5. Personal Wins.?
On the flip side I only had those challenges because I had a breakthrough moment this week in understanding how my skills in reading people truly benefit my clients.??
It’s a gift that’s hard to describe until you experience it—but I’m grateful for it.
?
And that's me for this week. Are you interested in my corporate offering? You can reply to this email if you want a conversation.?
Likewise for my lovely membership full of lovely dynamic women. Hit reply to have a chat... it's my favourite thing to do!
?
Until next time
How can I help?
