What does the mental health of instructors look like?
We recently worked with Workplace Mental Wealth to deep dive into the mental health of the fitness workforce.
The top positive effect on the mental health of group exercise instructors? “Feeling my work has purpose and I’m valued.”
In contrast, the top negative effect on mental health of instructors in 2022 was “Having responsibility for everything.”
We're currently conducting focus groups with instructors to further understand the challenges they face with their mental health. From this, we'll devise a plan on how the sector can better support the workforce.
