Security Tip...
Golden Rule No 16
Security is Only as Strong as its Weakest Link
You should ensure that every element of your security system is robust and reliable.
Here are the key points you should know.
1.?Layered Security: Implement multiple layers of different types of security to complicate the attackers path, forcing them to employ various tactics and tools.?
2. Single-Layer Vulnerabilities: Avoid relying on single-layer security systems, as a weakness in one component can compromise the entire system.?
3. Redundancy: Use redundant systems, especially for critical security measures like perimeter detection. Having two different systems in parallel, with one being covert, can significantly enhance security.
4. Human Factors. Recognise that people can be the weakest link. Implement strict need-to-know policies and ensure that employees understand the importance of maintaining security procedures.
