EDI TECHNICAL ANALYST needed - contract position, 100% remote - [email protected]

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for an?EDI Technical Analyst -?Remote?for our premier client in?Newark, Delaware. This is a?12?month contract?position.

Education and Experience ?

Required Qualifications:

• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and concepts.
• 4+ years EDI experience with global company implementing and supporting processes, including trading partner onboarding and migration.
• Experience integrating EDI with ERP and other applications.
• Ability to work with business partners and third party vendors.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience integrating EDI with J.D. Edwards and SAP.
• Experience working with multiple EDI communication options (e.g., AS2, SFTP, VANs).
• Understanding and experience with designing and working with Canonical Data Models (XML or JSON formats).
• Experience working with various EDI transaction types and standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT).

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Onboarding new EDI partners.
• Implementing new EDI functionality to meet business, regulatory and compliance needs.
• Documenting EDI specifications and changes.
• Coordination and setup of new and existing Trading Partners within EDI data translation and communication options (e.g., AS2, SFTP, VANs).
• Analyzing and translating business requirements into technical and system requirements to create technical specifications.
• Designing solutions based on EDI standards, company systems and third party systems.
• Ability to interface with business associates and external technical and business partners.
• Defining requirements for new EDI transactions and transaction business processes, testing new processes, transaction support monitoring, problem resolution, enhancement fulfillment, change management and status reporting.
• Communicating and coordinate on requirements, implementation and onboarding with business and third party vendors.
