Industry Trends: Will AI Replace Data Analyst Jobs?
In light of technical advancements
The ability to make sense of large amounts of data – finding patterns
These functions are also the foundation for data analysts; and if anyone can just ask ChatGPT how to improve the productivity or satisfaction of an organization, is it really necessary to employ individuals who specialize in finding ways to do this? Here's a hint, it is necessary.
Besides ethics, there are some other aspects to be considered before relying on AI to replace jobs like data analysts.
There's no doubt that more and more businesses will be incorporating AI tech into their businesses. And luckily, there seem to be factors that limit AI's ability to fully replace certain jobs.
Whether gaining skills in machine learning or incorporating the tech into your business, it remains important to use these tools as a supplement resource to enhance your day-to-day rather than a complete job replacement.

Helpful Tips: 5 Things NOT to Say During an Interview
Now that you have the opportunity to sit down with the manager and sell yourself as the best candidate for the job –?don’t blow it!
Here are 5 things you should avoid saying at all costs:
1. "I don’t have any questions."
Prior to an interview, do some research on the company (and, if possible, the specific department of the job you’re applying for) and find out as much as you can about their business.?
2. "I don’t like my current employer."
If this sensitive topic somehow works its way into your conversation, try to remain as neutral as possible and bring attention to how you have grown and learned from the experience.
3. "How much does this job pay and what are the benefits?"
There’s nothing wrong with wanting to know what a job pays, but at the initial stage your goal is to pass the interview; to do that, you need to show that your priorities align with the company's needs.
4. "What does your company do?"
This information is readily available on a company’s website or social media pages and can be easily found with a quick search. If you show up without a basic understanding of the fundamentals, you could be shown the door.
5. "I’m just looking for any job."
If you have a background full of short-term jobs, be prepared to have a conversation about why you are looking for something long-term now and why you feel this company is right for you.
Doing research, formulating thoughtful questions, and expressing a genuine interest
