Edge Formula Creation

Time for another Copilot hint.? If we use Edge Copilot, or https://copilot.microsoft.com/

Let’s use Copilot to create an Excel formula.? There is no need for Copilot for M365, we can do this in Edge or Copilot on the web. Here is our prompt:

“Create an Excel formula that will check the content of a cell. If the Cell C3 contains "dog" anywhere in the cell then add Cell A2 and B2 together and place it in A4.”

Let's test by changing the word in the cell.

Is the forumula correct, YES! Could there be more than one way to create the formula, YES again. Always test the formula, check to ensure the formula works for you. If it is a more complex formula, ensure you don't have future errors depending on your data.

I do know there are some formulas that Copilot cannot create but I expect this to be expanding continually. Just because it doesn't work today doesn't mean it won't work tomorrow. Keep trying!
