Dear friends and colleagues, I would like to talk a little about the "edge effect", in this case on corn. Of course, it is better to observe and evaluate it at the demonstration sites, in this case, the demonstration site is located in the Kalininsky district of the Krasnodar Area. What I would like to draw your attention to!!!!!! From the left to the right, three ears of the same hybrid are presented (a hybrid with the FAO 250 grain direction).
1) Ear of corn on the left is the edge effect.
2) Ear of corn in the middle is 1 m from the edge.
3) Ear of corn on the right is the usual middle cob, which is found in the cenosis.
Colleagues, know that the "edge effect" is a great way to demonstrate the potential of any hybrid)))).
THEREFORE, WHEN CHOOSING A HYBRID, TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE POTENTIAL OF THE HYBRID YOU HAVE CHOSEN))))
Best regards, Dr. Patskan Valery
