Ed Lamont Leads TALK OF KINGS Book Discussion at the Society of the Four Arts
Edwin L. Lamont CIC, CRM, CPIA
Commercial Property-Casualty Sales Trainer, Author, Keynote Speaker, and Historian.
On October 15, 2024, at 5:30 pm, Ed Lamont leads a TALK OF KINGS BOOK DISCUSSION at the Society of the Four Art's King Library in Palm Beach.
In?FRONTIER REBELS Patrick Spero tells the largely ignored story of The Fight for Independence in the American West, 1765-1776. Incidents leading to the American Revolution typically include the Stamp Act, Boston Massacre, and Boston Tea Party - all east coast events. Yet, in the mid-18th century discontent with both British and Pennsylvania proprietary rule anchored in the fear and hatred of American Indians meant trouble.
Who were the “Black Boys”? Were they outlaws or Patriots? What did they do to take frontier law into their own hands and make this story so uncomfortable to tell?
