In 1984, Ed Lamont entered the insurance world as a surety bond producer in Washington DC. Since 1991, he’s worked as a construction insurance, worker’s compensation, and risk management specialist in south Florida.

He founded the Lamont Consulting Group, Inc. in 1997 to help professional insurance agents achieved "measurable increases in sales." Ed leads CPIA professional designation training and the DISASTER & CONTINUITY PLANNING: Business and Family Advanced Seminar for PIA Nat'l.
