ECU SHL to exhibit at the May National Restaurant Association annual show

When Drs. Bob O'Halloran and Cynthia Deale, and teaching instructor Michael Fazzini, represent ECU's School of Hospitality Leadership at the annual National Restaurant Association Show, May 18-21 in Chicago, Illinois, they will be looking to speak with representatives from three distinct target markets.

  1. Recruiters interested in hiring SHL student graduates and interns. "Many HR and recruiting specialists attend the show and want to connect with a reputable source for graduates and students. The NRA show is a great vehicle for us to showcase the hospitality leaders that are coming out of our program," said O'Halloran, director of ECU's SHL.
  2. Alumni and industry friends of ECU and SHL. "Many ECU and SHL alums in the hospitality industry attend the show, and we strive to make a connection with them," said O'Halloran.
  3. Student recruitment. "Many hospitality professionals have not completed their degrees and have reached levels of responsibility where a degree can support their career trajectory. Since we offer our undergraduate and graduate degrees 100% online, we are recruiting students at this show from across the country because our degrees will work perfectly with their professional lifestyle," said O'Halloran.

The show typically draws more than 60,000 attendees over the course of the show.

If you're visiting the show, stop by and say hi to Drs. O'Halloran and Deale. You can find them at booth 10538.
