Can you please set up the scene and tell us what you see from your desk?
From my desk, I have a view of my two lovely plants: Rita and Gary, Oslo (our office dog) lying in the corner of the office, and the sky outside the window.
What is the main purpose of your role?
I take care of the Business Bistro trade show booth sales, follow every membership-related activity, and assist our Communications Manager in various tasks.
What are you working on right now?
Currently, the trade show sales are going well and keeping me busy; we are also planning some nice content for our upcoming newsletters and preparing the memberships for 2023.
What are the most enjoyable and challenging parts of your role so far?
The most enjoyable part of my role is that I get to talk and interact with a lot of people every day. I love to exchange with people all the time! And the most challenging is to make sure to keep up with all the different things going on at once, great organisation is needed there.
How did you end up in this position?
I started at Ecsite as Communications and Events intern and my love and ease for interacting with people got me to stay working with exhibitors and members.
In the future, you would like to…
...open a little cosy bookstore!
PS: What is the most beautiful thing you have seen this week?
The poster of the documentary "Nuits d’Europe" that was on display at the House of European History, this kind of cabaret-style visuals always fascinates me.
