Ecowatt Newsletter - February 2023
Happy New Year to you and yours!?
Ecowatt began 2023 with a tour to see our partners in the UK for sustainability workshops, exploring collaborative ways to help our partners inch closer to net zero, through initiatives. More to be announced soon.
Also, if you were not able to watch it yet, here is the interview about Ecowatt with our marketing director, Lauren Haworth and veteran journalist, Andrew Wilson in Davos, Switzerland. It can be seen on CBS News, and below:
What is happening in Q1, 2023?
What else is happening in 2023?:
After making some significant changes to our business operations in 2022, our objective this year, is to make big strides in these areas:
Token Model Upgrade:
We have reviewed our token model and found that it deserves improvement and upgrading into what we believe will be an incredibly unique offering that bridges investment, traditional finance, sustainability and green finance utilising both traditional methods and new technologies, including blockchain. All information and milestones will be revealed as soon as we possibly can.
Build out Green Asset Portfolio:
We are in discussions with multiple investors both individuals and institutions alike, to source, purchase, develop and operate various renewable power stations around the world. Most of our discussions are focused on Hungary, Romania, Turkey and the USA. We currently have 14 GW in the pipeline.

Expand our social impact project portfolio:
Key to our values is authenticity and that follows through to everything that we do. Not the least of which is the requirement to source social impact projects carefully, ensuring all projects are verified, and up to standard to ensure both the planet and surrounding communities are benefited in perpetuity. These projects take longer to find, and validate but we will update the website as soon as new information is available.
Customer Service:
As many of you will know, building out a team often requires many people to wear multiple hats. Whilst this is beneficial in some ways, it can detract in others. Our aim with customer service is to improve our response times and the quality of the assistance, substantially.
Brand Partnerships:
We started our brand partnerships with Southampton Football Club in the UK and the Arabian Ocean Rowing Team - ‘Row to COP’ in the UAE. We are in discussions with a number of other key global brands to expand our presence.

And finally, we are working closely with the FBI Cybercrime department and the Irish and German police who are currently investigating the token hack that occurred in June 2022. We are hopeful to resolve this.
We have an enormous task on our hands, and we're fired up! Thank you for sticking with us. Every day is getting better and better.
?Sincerely,
The Ecowatt Team
