Introduction

Three years ago, ECOTONE made the bold decision to become a local company, deeply rooted in Australia and New Zealand, with a clear mission: to support our building industry by delivering coatings, finishes, and facades that are not only visually stunning but also environmentally sustainable. Today, looking back at what we’ve achieved, we feel a deep sense of gratitude to the partners and clients who have supported and believed in us along the way.

Becoming ECOTONE Australia and New Zealand was a pivotal moment. It allowed us to focus our efforts on supporting the local building industry with innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of our environment. While the past three years have been full of challenges, they’ve also given us the opportunity to work on projects that reflect our commitment to sustainability, innovation, and collaboration.

New South Wales: Macarthur Anglican School

In NSW, our Colour by Design approach for Macarthur Anglican School brought a new level of aesthetic appeal to the campus. Using our Long-Life Colour Coatings (LLCC), we delivered a finish that not only enhanced the look of the building but also provided long-term durability, resisting the wear and tear of time and weather.

Victoria: Brightening Schools for the Victorian School Building Authority

Working with the Victorian School Building Authority on six new schools allowed us to explore how functional coatings can do more than just protect—they can inspire. The prefabricated architectural cladding we worked on brought colour and vibrancy to educational spaces while ensuring that the surfaces would remain beautiful and low-maintenance for years to come.

Adelaide: Stunning Savings at Field St

In Adelaide, our work on the Field St project highlighted the practicality of using LLCCs with precast panels. We were able to help reduce costs while still delivering a visually striking facade. It’s projects

Queensland: Monolithic Marvels at Canvas

At Canvas Apartments in Queensland, we took ordinary building materials and turned them into something remarkable. By using our coatings, the building achieved a sleek, monolithic look, showcasing how simple materials can be transformed into architectural standouts.

Western Australia: Coastal Innovation at Scarborough Beach

Coastal environments are tough on buildings, but our work on the Coast Residences at Scarborough Beach was an example of how we can tackle these challenges head-on. By delivering a Corten-style finish without the rust, we created a visually stunning and durable facade that will withstand the harsh coastal conditions for years to come.

New Zealand: Art Meets Architecture in Auckland

In Auckland, we were privileged to help bring an artist’s vision to life on the 11-storey Hotel Grand Chancellor. Using ECOTONE’s range of colours, we turned the side of this high-rise into a vibrant mural that now adds beauty and creativity to the city skyline.

Meeting Industry Needs with our Waterproof and Weatherproof Solutions

The building industry is always evolving, and when the need for waterproof and weatherproof compliant finishes grew, we knew we had to act quickly. With changing legislation, the demand for solutions that could protect concrete structures from the elements became more urgent. Our team responded by developing compliant waterproof and weatherproof solutions to protect buildings while maintaining their aesthetic appeal.
