The Ecosystem Reboot?

The Ecosystem Reboot?

For over a decade I've been teaching my clients how to build out a high-performing ecosystem of products and services. I've learned a lot in the process.

Digital downloads, courses, 1:1 calls, coaching groups, live events, books, you name it…

But, the biggest lesson I've learned is to not rest on your laurels.

Just because you have a selection of offers that seem to be selling well, it doesn't mean that there's no room for improvement!

This week I've been prepping a new training I'll be doing at our Round Table Mastermind retreat in Barcelona next month. It's entitled The Ecosystem Reboot?. Although I'm saving all the juicy stuff for our clients, I thought it might not be a bad idea, especially as we're almost in the final quarter of the year, to suggest you pause and ask yourself a few questions:

1. Why is it important to analyze your current offer ecosystem?

Answer: Analyzing your offer ecosystem helps you understand which products and services are driving revenue and which are underperforming. By taking a closer look at your offers, you'll identify gaps and missed opportunities, allowing you to optimize your current offerings and create new ones.

2. How does this help me increase my revenue?

Answer: The combination of identifying high-performing products and discovering new opportunities will enable you to maximize revenue and scale more effectively. It'll also help you make more money with less effort.

3. What's the 'competitor gap' I'm possibly experiencing, without even knowing it?

Answer: When one of your competitors is offering something (and selling it consistently) that you're not, that's what I call the 'competitor gap'. And that is a big fat opportunity to consider doing something similar, but differently (note: I didn't say better!).

As my friend Sally Hogshead always says, being different is better than being better!

BLOG POST: The True Purpose of Making Money: Investing in Happiness

My father always said, “Money isn’t something you should have to worry about. It’s something you should use.” This always highlighted a critical perspective for me: money should be a tool to enhance our happiness and life experiences.

As entrepreneurs, we often find ourselves obsessed with making money. However, money isn’t the ultimate goal; it’s about how we use it! Read more here about how I reinvested money for enjoyment earlier this year, and why it’s something you should actively ensure you do moving forward.

The idea of asking yourself a few questions before the last quarter of the year is excellent advice. This can help entrepreneurs focus on key aspects of their business and prepare for the new year. It would be interesting to know what specific questions you consider most important for such a "reboot"? For example, are there any universal questions that you recommend to all your clients?
